The POP Awards are based on excellence of service and delivery within an Office Professional position in any corporation or government organisation.

The inaugural awards have been developed in conjunction with the POPS luncheon and are part of the recognition of Office Professionals as key contributors to business and industry success, development and sustainability.

The purpose of the awards is to promote and celebrate innovation, motivation, passion and continued improvement within the office professional functions within an organisation and to recognise the achievements of individuals striving for good practice and high standards of service delivery.

The award winners will be those individuals who:

  • Maintain high-levels of service and continued improvement within their job function
  • Embody and support the company culture
  • Are the true facilitators in business growth and team development
The awards on offer are for:

POP of the year – for full time office professionals
Part time POP of the year – for professionals working between 8 – 35 hours / week

Please note: For award nominees that are short-listed both of the people named above will be contacted for a brief discussion on the nominee.

Key Dates :

Nominations for the awards will be through submission of a nomination by both the manager and individual, or by the manager and peer.  However the nominated candidate will need to be aware of the nomination as will be contacted by the panel.  Nominations can be made through our website and close on Wednesday 16th April and will be reviewed by a panel with contact being made to the nominators by the 21st April. Award finalists will be notified before the lunch and the awards will be presented at the inaugural POPS Lunch on 23rd April, 2008
